Chart 3: "Two-Year Colleges Granted Permission to Develop Baccalaureate Degrees"
This chart shows which states have 2-year colleges that have permission to develop baccalaureate degrees. This chart includes the fields in which the colleges may develop baccalaureate degrees.

Chart 4: "Competency and Credit-Based Alternative Teacher Certification Routes"
This chart is based on descriptions of alternative routes provided by the states when reporting teacher certification routes for Title II purposes. The chart shows which states have competency-based programs that examine credits and life experience already possessed by the teacher candidate, and which have credit-based programs that require teacher candidates to complete a prescribed course of study through the alternative route. Some states have both routes available to candidates.
